Here we have a press photo of Generalfeldmarschall Wolfram Karl Ludwig Moritz Hermann Freiherr von Richthofen.
He was a German fighter pilot during World War I who rose to the rank of Generalfeldmarschall in the Luftwaffe during World War II.
In 1936 he was active in the spanish civl war, in Legion Condor. and tested the dive bomber concept and the Ju 87. Which first saw action under Richthofen's command in Spain. He retained his position as Head of Development, but he was tasked with the evaluation of aircraft under operational conditions. His role expanded in January 1937, and he became Chief of Staff to Hugo Sperrle, who was to command the Legion Condor.
